When You Go Out

And when you go out, you don’t have to be afraid.
He will be with you, His light will shine upon.

What has fear gotten us into? I wonder… in a moment of anxiety, sighing in what tomorrow holds.
At once one feels so confident about a step,
the next they find themselves in a room full of doubts
while fear resounds from all angles, and we find ourselves stuck into a sphere of negativity.

How insane it is that in such moments
we easily lose grip of the knowledge we’ve always had.
We find ourselves entertaining the lies and feed
that which is not beneficial to our souls.
A plate full of negativity being served right in front of us.

You’re not alone and you don’t belong in that space.

We have a wonderful friend, the amazing Father,
Who says unto us not to let the trouble around us drive us
into a sphere of fear but in whatever path we may be walking in,
He is with us through it all.

Get up, try again. Get up, dream again. Stand up, do it again.
Rise up and look up to the sky and hope again.
Rise and allow yourself to fall in His arms and remain there.
Fix your gaze upon Him as He leads you.
